A Call For Help…

So, my treadmill is making funny noises. The exercise bike makes me want to snooze. Tonight, I broke out the Carmen Electra Aerobic Striptease DVDs for my workout and did this:

And while it was entertaining, the workout itself is pretty short (it’s longer than the 2 minute clip here, but… still: short workout) and I don’t want to keep explaining to my kids that yeah, she meant for her pants to look like that. Oh, and the jogging in place at the end? I totally don’t get that.

Until I replace my treadmill, I guess I’m stuck with my exercise bike and workout DVDs. Any recommendations?

And it’s Monday night and the “I Am Blissfully Domestic” linky night – so hi to any BD folks. If you click on the little jobby-do down there, you can pop on over to Blissfully Domestic to see what other folks have going on this week.

  1. Kim @ Up North Mommy says

Carmen looks great doing that workout, but I would look ridiculous! LOL!

Let us know if it works for you.

Thanks for participating in I am Blissfully Domestic.

  2. I am not quite sure about the word “juicy” across my butt….of course…if I were built like Carmen perhaps I would want to draw attention to my butt…but in my case, horizontal stripes across the top and black pants…sort of like chain gang fashion for the athletically impaired. p.s. The Debbie Sieber’s Slim in 6 really does work….great results in a short period of time.

  3. The common excuse for not getting enough exercise is lack of time, well when was the last time you sat in front of the TV and watched a 30min soap. Quite often I would have thought. Having your own exercise bike allows you not only to enjoy your favourite soap but get a healthy workout.

  4. OMG all could think was how silly I’d look trying to follow THAT! LOL

We LOVE our Wii Fit (I need to get it back out)- I would recommend it if you don’t have it!

  5. I love Richard Simmons… seriously… I’m looking for the “tone and sweat” on DVD because we don’t have a tape player.
