Crossing My Fingers and Seeing The Signs

Today is going to be a good day. Do you know how I know this? I’ll tell you how:

  • Pumpkin slept in until 6:30. That means I slept in until 6:30.
  • The girls didn’t fight at all about ANYTHING this morning – and they always find something to bicker about
  • I didn’t have to suck in to zip up my jeans (it’s tax season, the jeans get a leeeeetle bit snuggier in tax season)
  • The sun is shining
  • My to-do list is considerably less painful than it was yesterday

In light of the above, I’m being optimistic about the day and hoping that it’ll stay as good as it is right this moment. Cross your fingers.

  1. It must be in the air this morning. BabyGirl woke up at 6:30 on her own (as opposed to me dragging her whiny behind out of bed at 7) & #1 Son was up shortly after. By seven they were fed, dressed, and ready to go…they don't have to leave until after 7:45. No one fought. No one was late. It was all good.

It sort of makes me nervous when this happens…like the calm before the storm. 😉

Well, that does sound like a great start to the day! Our weather is supposed to be much warmer as the week progresses, so I already have a little spring in my step over that! 🙂

    Yay! A great start!!

  4. The Courteous Chihuahua says

Wow! I’m not sure how much better it could get! 🙂
